last season we finished on 70pts, at the moment game for game comparison compared to last season, if every result finished the same way as they did last season we would be on 72pts

of our remaining 12 games against the teams we still have to face swapping the the promoted for those relegated we gained 19pts

we won 5 Palace away, Watford, Bournemouth & Man U at home, and Hull (swapped with Villa) away = 15pts
we drew 4 Everton at home, Swansea away, Leicester away, and Arscum at home = 4pts
we lost 3 Southampton at home, Wet Spam and Newcatle (this season Hull) away

19 + 53 =72
I see. But we have been better than last year to date - so it would follow - for a projection - that we would continue to be better at the same rate for the remaining matches...

Minimum of 73 points, and we are on pace for 77 points.

And - you have Hull in there twice - swapped for Villa and Newcastle - not sure if that matters, I assume its just a typo.

Burnley are in place of Newcastle

the points projection is if we match the same results against the same ops as we did last season, not what we believe we should do, because there is no guarantee we will even match the 70pts of last season

I know this update is pretty late due to a house move, and due to a new build, BT and OpenReach I'm working with an iPad and 3G connection, I have now done this last 1 but due to it taking too much time, until I get back on a computer this will be my last update. Was meant to be online by Monday just gone but now no idea when I'll have access again.

Our current point tally surely has to be the highest ever after 29 games (in the PL era at least)?

Edit: According to Sky its our best since 1963

think we will need another volunteer next season, especially if the winning run continues to the end of the season, going to be hard to match what we have done so far, and i only like using the - as a spacer:)

looking back you can see Oct-Nov was bad for us

Replacing Kane and Toby, with the unfortunate opposition keepers having worldies Foster, Schmichael, even Boruc made a couple of very good saves, and to top it off Chelsea hit us both sides of the break in a match that if we had got a point, they couldn't of had any complaints.

Well my final update for the season, absolutely gutted we never took the title, because our football deserved it. the only shame about this thread is 1, I had no idea how to show it in a column format, and 2 there was a few others that chipped in last season which made it more involved. next season I doubt I'll do it, I mean the only way i could really enjoy it would be if we could better this season and after going the whole season in our final 1 at the lane, if we can even just match this seasons points I reckon the title will be ours.

we scored 86 goals which was 17 more than last season, we conceded 26 8 less meaning a +60 GD:ROFLMAO: sorry this last 2 seasons have been amazing, just annoying we have only a place in the CL to show for it.

Harry Kane gains the golden boot after missing 9 games this season with 29 goals, Hugo just misses out on the golden glove with 15 clean sheets, but 16 clean sheets over the season, the most we conceded in any league game was 2, in fact had we not suffered in our final game last season that would of been 2 seasons running (not the Spurs I have watched the last 44 years:))

the biggest shame about next season, the few that go OTT with their negative posting will be loving this thread if we don't even get close to it.

as this is the final update, all the info is on this last post, I would like to say thanks to all those that have follow this thread, hope you have a great summer and come back to witness an even better season

when you consider we drew 8 games this season, in 5 of those 8 draws we gained a point from a losing position, and 6 draws where against teams that finished in the top 10. the 2 that hurt us where Leicester at home, probably one of the very few errors Wanyama made all season, and Sunderland away

out of our 4 loses 3 of them came from teams in the top 6 away from home, the biggest hit was Wetspam away.

we dropped 21pts against the top 10 teams, but only dropped 2pts at home, 7pts against teams in the bottom 10, and that was only 2pts also at home to the previous PL winners.

I know we were 7pts a drift of Chelsea had we just turned 2 of those draws into wins, and got a deserved point against Chelsea away, yesterday we would of been lifting the title "GUTTED" even though I'm so proud of this team.
