These threads are always quiet at the end of the season.

Keep it up it will pick up.

It might be handy to reference what the point swing is on a given game rather than just the overall difference after the game.

So yesterday was +3, leaving us at -2

think that showing last seasons score, then this season is reference to the swing. start putting to much info it starts looking untidy again.

I know you don't use the link, but hope a good few do, or i'll give that a miss

Glad to know we actually aren't off the pace from last season...it just feels that way because United and City are better this year (of course they better be; the pressure is on them for spending shit tons of money)

Thanks again Lighty

Matching last season so far is no mean feat.

But but but, the chairman is stingy, the manager has no in game management, we have no pace, we have no squad depth, we sold a first teamer...

You know how it works here, unless we win all 38 games 5-0 no one is ever satisfied. Even then I reckon people will still moan.

And, and , err ....... our goal difference is 4 goals worse!

How the hell did we only draw at Sunderland last season... ?

I think I've completely blanked that game. Was it the one where Rodwell got away with a horror challenge on Dembele and we lost focus?

It was in January mid week and I went as a guest of a Sunderland VP . The hospitality was first class , the game was rubbish and without doubt one of our worst displays all season. We never threatened and was quite out of character with our normal style of play , Couldn't remember the last time I had seen them so lethargic. Football wise a night to forget.

Thanks for doing this Lighty, it helps me keep some perspective.

Also helps me remember some of last seasons games. Dementia can be cruel
