Gareth Bale’s agent has revealed he told Jose Mourinho and Tottenham how to get the best out of his client as the prospect of a second season at the club is discussed.

I've made no secret of my dislike for Jonathan Barnett and when he says about it being fine if RM want to put Bale on the bench, that's part of the reason. His job is to work in the best interest of his client, that doesn't necessarily mean playing no football - which clearly makes him happy - just to pick up his pay cheque. If that were true then he wouldn't be on loan at Spurs in the first place.
