Papers are full of Bale being unhappy at Madrid, and Man Utd wanting him. The usual suspects (HR) talking shite saying he would win the league for Utd.

Why on earth would Bale leave now when the clubs hierachy are putting their faith in him as the clubs future and Ronaldos shadow is becoming smaller and smaller. Not to mention his good form in the last few weeks.

He also has a manager in Zidane that did everything in his power to sign him.

He will never be out of Ronaldo's shadow while Ronaldo is still there, they love him, he can do no wrong in the vast majority of the Madrid faithful's eyes. I have always thought that Gareth would end up at United at some point, but I really don't think he will allow them (on his own) to win the league. In Spain they like to be entertained, not buy just pace and power but by technique and skill, yes Gareth has it all but will always be behind the likes of Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo, and a few others in that respect.

Remember if the papers are to be believed Ronaldo, basically on his own, caused the sacking of Rafa.

I think Rafa sacked himself. His style just doesnt suit Madrid and anyone that watches football knew Rafa would be out the door before long.

It remains to be seen how long Ronaldo will be at the club for.

They were booing him the other day.

From what I have seen they have booed Bale more? Who do you think they would be more pissed about, selling Bale or selling Ronny?

I would like to see Ronny back in the PL and at United.

I'd have thought that's far more likely than bale going there

I agree, but if its true that Bale wants to leave RM and come back to the PL United would do everything they could to get him. To be honest if he was definitely to come back, and it was a choice of City, the Chavs or United I would want him to pick United. If it was Arsenal he went to I would find that very hard to take and a little footballing bit of me would die.

Or Chelsea I'd hate

The press have been desperate for Bale to go to Man Utd ever since Fergie's moan about how he chose us over them.

There'd have to be a serious sweetener given to us from Madrid IF Perez ever sold Bale to another PL club.

I think its unfair that Bale is under Ronaldo's shadow... as Ronaldo is little more than an uber goal poacher these days, who requires a team of world beaters to enable him. Whereas Bale is a consumate footballer... creates, runs, scores, enabler and enabled.

Look at Ronnie playing for Portugal. He knows he's in a team of players shitter than him so he doesn't make that much effort... unlike Bale for Wales who is just another hard working player in an already hard working team.

Without bias, I know who I'd choose to have in my team.

Frankly if Bale is coming back to the EPL then surely he would want to join the team who are likeliest to win the title, hence, welcome home gareth!

When we achieve CL, he comes back for a season loan in 16/17 scoring a hatrick against Inter in the final, this time winning 4-3 before declaring his love and joining for a reduced free in the 17/18 season
