if mourinho had half the brain people think he does they would ditch that idea keep martial and rashford, and find a creative outlet to utilize some of these players. After watching the FA cup final today it really showed they lack the creativity that someone like Eriksen brings for us.

Not saying they should go for Eriksen because they can fuck off before trying that idea.

They were in for Ozil weren't they?

In my view Bale returning would be massive for us... He would probably score 15-20 goals and give lots and lots off assists.

I want Bale back so badly but it's just never going to happen.
Agree, his change in form of late I think pushes this one out of our reach. He’s been scoring and performing consistently in the last few games and looks set to start the CL. If he doesn’t want to leave I think that’s that.

Well if he isn't to leave Real, and he does indeed start the final...next best thing...he smashes Salah and co. into oblivion.

If Real get Neymar Bale will be sold
Its a tricky situation for RM, if they want Neymar they will need to sell as he will be very expensive and their finances are not that rosy these days, but i doubt they would sell Bale without a guaranty of Neymar joining. I still would be gobsmacked if we ended up with Bale, and this transfer saga will go on all summer no doubt which really wont suit us at all.

To whoever, the point is he will be told he's not wanted anymore despite him wanting to stay
To add to that, we ALL know his desire would be to return to us, and finances etc wouldn’t be an issue. I also know RM pushing him our way, but not sure it is reciprocal enough.

One does wonder how he would adapt to Poch's system. I know in the past he has been openly favourable about the idea of Bale coming back, but in reality he may have concerns about his work rate + injuries. The Bale who now plays for RM is, yes world class, but very different to the one we had all those years ago. I would still love to sign him, but i'm not surprised we have concerns. But realistically, he is probably the only world class attacking talent we could bring in. We are hardly about to go spend 80/90 odd mil on Dybala or Griezmann. And Poch has never seemed to be interested in big name players anyway.

Lots of creative ways to have pay his worth whilst keeping him on similar wage to Kane et al

Never sure these sort of posts are accurate. For them to be accurate you have to assume the other players and their agents are walking around with their eyes closed, and with their fingers in their ears, and ignoring what is being done for such players. These ‘creative ways’ are available for all the players no ? So why won’t the agents be pressing for the same for their star players ?

Great info as always, but This is baffling imo. Bale would like to sign for us again. We can put finances in place. Madrid pushing him out but the question mark is whether Spurs want to bring him back.

Would love to know why the reluctance or what we have in the pipeline that would make this a less desirable option.

Come on Madrid get that Brazilian signed :)

Doesn’t Hercules mean Bale isn’t sure about leaving RM not us buying him ?

Poch's preferences?

If we signed Bale and a quality CM I believe we would have what it takes to challenge seriously next year.

a new stadium and the return of Bale.

It's too good to be true, but if it happens, my god.

Kane Bale Eriksen and Dele (plus Son, Lamela and Lucas) that is some nice attacking depth.
