until the window is over I refuse to believe there isn't a chance. If RM do try to push him out, the money they will have to pay him will cover his wage lose, because if they do push him out, I really don't see an athlete of Bales calibre not wanting to play football.

it doesn't matter how important he is to Wales, if he isn't playing at all for RM Giggs won't select him, and RM will do whatever they have to do if they want some new galacticos because of fair play rules

Haha so much hyperbole. Bale has still played a significant amount of football this season. People in this thread are acting like Bale plays the same amount of minutes for Madrid that Llorente plays for us.

And yes Bale will always be selected for Wales lol.

It's not happening.

Indeed. Bale's reps can release all the statements in the world about him wanting to end his career at Madrid. If Madrid don't want to use / keep him, what's he gonna do, just sit on the bench until he retires?

Exactly. Was there a statement from Madrid saying they want him to retire there!
Although acknowledge does not change anything!

He could cut off one of his legs and still get selected for Wales.

Not that is really has any bearing as it was going to happen, but Isco is starting instead of Bale in the final. Does seem he isn’t as important as he once was. Sure he won’t change his mind about leaving tho.

I'd like to think of it as more of a push our way. ;)

Yes, I know it's unrealistic and optimistic and probably f***ing stupid, but I'm still hoping!

What will be interesting is if Isco stays and they bring in Neymar or Hazard. What will happen to Bale. Asensio is an incredible talent and very highly rated by RM. I can see him going the way of Di Maria and Ozil before him. Only difference is his injury record and his astronomical wage. I think he will be in Limbo next season. Doubt he will leave but he won’t get game time a player of his caliber and age deserves.

Let us put this to bed. Trix is closer than I, or anyone can be on this one. It just is not going to happen!!!

Neither is Poch that keen.

Supposedly hasn’t gone out to warm up with all the other Madrid substitutes. Here come the assumptions he has gone off in a strop ?

Oh I’m sure he won’t, was more just commenting on him not starting and what will happen to him next season. I know it won’t be with us, but it will be interesting none the less.
