Let’s be honest with our selfs .

If man city , Man Utd or dare I say it even Chelsea want bale. Why would be come back to us?

We would pay him peanuts
He's earned nigh on £100 million since he's been at Madrid. I'm not sure money will be his motivation, it's about playing every week. So Chelsea it is then

Yeah, would probably be difficult for them to sack Zidane now. Could Ronaldo be on the way out? Both are absolute legends there and the fans love them. Does anyone know how popular Bale is with the Madrid fans? I remember they didn't like for a fair old while.

I’d imagine that Bale is quite popular in Madrid tonight.

Really odd. That starting line-up may have changed his mind. Maybe prior to that the signals were he was happy to stay

Honestly...if he leaves and doesn’t come to Spurs (very unlikely to return), where does he go? Doesn’t fit at City style wise w/ Pep, United is a mess w/ their abundance of attacking players with no clear style or strategy plus Mourinho is not doing them any favors. Where makes sense?

For anyone that didn't see Bale's post match interview, he said repeatedly that he was disappointed not to start; that he felt he deserved to start; that he needs to play regularly; that he had a six week injury at the start of the season and has been fit since; and, when asked whether he's coming back to the PL, that he will sit down with his agent and take it from there.

That is an incredible goal!

Can only dream of seeing him back in a Spurs shirt.

Right this has got to be my last post in this thread. Must move on, can’t stay in Never Never Land.

The posts in this thread tonight are the most perfect example of the manifestation of a shared psychosis on ITK.

Absolutely bonkers.

The thing is with ITK is that they know more than us Joe Public but they also know less than Levy, Poch and any player we're linked with. The information they are getting is at best 2nd hand (unless one of them is Poch, Levy or a top quality player, which I highly doubt) and in reality 3rd or 4th hand information, some may even come from agents, who may even use some ITKer to leak information or to hurry a club or player up (we know media follow ours and other clubs ITKers). This is why we are always told every summer to take all ITK with a pinch of salt because we hear stuff early and things change, allied to the fact the information may sometimes be days old.

I love ITK and all the posters that share their info but "Falcao goodnight", "Willian done", if you get what I'm saying

I just simply think it's United. I can't see him at City personally and United with Mourinho doesn't look greatly appealing but watch what players they bring in this summer regardless of that.

Bayern don't pay that more wages than we do. Lewandowski is their top earner on £160k a week. Really doubt they'd go for bale.

Really doesn’t matter. It’s a good move. He’ll have years to perform.

But they seem to buy with no clear plan. They make the most sense on one hand but also a bad fit on the other.
