Is funny that we have one of the best young centre backs in the world, huh?

One of the best? You don’t give your fans a heart attack if you are one of the best.

If Sanchez is one of the best, then de Ligt is probably God.

Come on, I surely hope our players succeed, but he is definitely not one of the best young center backs.

The same de Ligt who was absolutely bullied by Llorente? No young CB is perfect.

Is G Bale a young centre back? Do we need another defender? How does he compare to De Ligt and Sanchez? Am I in the right thread?

the thing is Sanchez is so much better in a back 4, and seems his weakness is when 3 at the back and being central

That position takes a lot of understanding and experience- no wonder really.

And you’re right- he’s much better in a back four at the moment

No that would be worse because there's no way we'd pay Bale 500-600k a week.

If he’s released on a free, they’ll be paying him off anyway. Anything he earns from his new club would be on top of that.

Also, it’s the express. So it’s bollocks.

That club is as disgusting as their supporters. He won them CL a few times on his own. They treat him like shit. Im happy their shit this year. They dont deserve success if this is how they treat players not named Ronaldo. Ronny and his goals in those finals are more celebrated even though the games were already won.

Possibly a big signing on fee to bring the weekly wage to be inline with kane. 25m signing on fee must bring it down a fare bit.

This is exactly it.

Rather than paying a transfer fee to a club, that signing on fee would go straight to a player. That upfront money offsets the huge weekly wages.
We'd pay 200k a week wages plus 200k a week for the contract term upfront.

Still a lot of money, especially given our previous.
Bale on loan might suit us better, knowing he'd go back to Madrid if there was a serious injury
