Looking forward to having him back in the team soon. Think he is a great player. Will give us another dimension at set pieces.

What is the general consenus - do you think Ramos will use him as a left winger? He is a big user of outright wingers and i think that Bale is our best option for the left, using Jenas/Zokora/KPB/Huddlestone/Malbranque for the middle. Obviously this depends on everyone being fit/not rested etc.

Anyway we have a decent run of fixtures coming up so hopefully we can begin to turn the season around.

I think for the time being he has to use him as a left winger as he is by far our best option there. Though Malbranque has been decent, Bale is a big step up. I think by next season at the latest we'll have an out and out left winger as well, and we may see Bale drop back into left back. Ramos likes attacking fullbacks as well.

i think with our defensive frailties atm it is best to use Bale at LW. he has been brilliant in that position all season so i think Juande will use him there. Great player and he is only going to get better.

think about the same yesterday.

But it's interesting to see where he will be used under Ramos LB or LM

I don't think we'll see him back until after the international break.

he was only out for 10 days and hes already been training, when is the international break anyway. im sure he'll play against wigan, hes excellent for us.especially on corners and free kicks

Thought he was back for the weekend as well. He has been the biggest threat on the ball for us

Ramos would play Alves at RB or RW depending on the opposition his perfere tactics etc. I would exepct to see a similar pattern with Bale. Even during a game to change the shape of the team he will be move from LB to LW and vice versa.

If were insistent on using a right footed left back it is important IMO G Bale be used as a left winger, long term I'd like to see Beniot Assou-Ekotto used as left back in place of the lovable Lee.

he is very attacking so i would like to see ekotto playing there, also he has a pretty good left foot , where as lee has to keep cutting back.
