Agreed. If Madrid are genuinely willing to let Modric go, let's throw our hat into the ring. Signing older players is not Levy's M.O. but I'd hope he'd make an exception for probably the best all round CM in the world. I'm not worried about his age - he's capable of playing at the highest level for another couple of years at least. Never really relied on pace.

He was doing ok but lost his way a bit at Dortmund. I think he had an injury, then struggled to find form in a team that was going through a state of flux with managerchanges etc.

I'm really looking forward to it. Inter have made some excellent signings and Roma have got a whole new team. Seria a has been getting better each year, I think this year it will be the league to watch after the PL.

Yeah I'm starting to think that too. I can see more reasons to watch Seria a than La Liga right now which I normally do watch some of.

Apparently, he will be among the twenty best paid players in the PL. Getting almost 200K/week. Significantly more than Palace's current best paid player (Benteke), who is on 135K/week. Juve just took back Bonucci after 1 season at AC Milan, I bet we could get over Luka from 6 years ago.
