ah this is the thread i was looking for.....be a relief for Citeh fans to deal with the weakness in their squad. Clearly the lack of forwards is holding them back!
At the moment Bravo is going to be looking around with just Kompany anywhere near him. Everyone else is in the opposition's half.

Manchester City have agreed a £43m deal to sign attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva from French champions Monaco.

The 22-year-old Portugal international will join when the transfer window opens on 1 July, with the club set to announce the transfer later on Thursday.

Quality 1st team Attackers: Kun, Gabriel, KDB, Silva, Silva, Sane, Sterling (guessing Nolito and Nacho chips is gone)
Quality 1st team midfielders: Fernandino (red card waiting to happen), Illkay (sadly injury prone)
Quality 1st team defenders: Kompany (injury prone)
Quality 1st team GK who Pep likes:

just silly...

Window hasn't even opened yet. They'll clearly be buying defenders too.

Zabaleta in his Spammers shirts already.

The season hasn't even ended. Seems to be a lot of players moving already.

Its going to be record breaking this window.

Goal.com reporting "cautious optimism" for Naby Keita and Virgil van Dijk to Liverpool.

The Leipzig director came out the other day saying they won't be selling any member of the first 11. Obviously it could be bluster, but I don't think they need the cash by any stretch of the imagination.

He looks good, so really hope Pool don't get him.

Apparently they want 60 for Keita but Pool seem to be willing to spend big this summer. Already tried to get Mbappe. I think its safe to bet that every other top 5 team, except for Arsenal, will spend at least twice as much as we will. I just hope we manage to buy well this summer. We really cant afford any more Sissoko's.

Meh...not really fussed who our rivals sign, the more money the spend the more pressure they put on themselves.
Exactly. City, Utd and Chelsea will probably spend £200m this summer. Only one team can win the league so at least 2 of their managers will be considered failures at the end of the season despite spunking millions.

Indeed, the problem is that fans and media always get sucked into teams buying all these expensive players and the expectation levels shoot up, it happened last season and will continue to happen such is the way football is now.
