Didn't realise that Schick fella signed for Juventus this week

The Juventus / Bayern model just gets stronger each year. Nabbing all the best talent before they are superstars in their respective leagues. Really hope Schick gets game time, really great technique and think he will end up a class act.

Zenit are taking Kostas Manolas and Leandro Parades off Roma for €65m. Surprised with Parades, we've been linked along with other top clubs and he seems very talented.

To sit on the bench...for ~30M. He does have a clause which will allow him to go back to Samp on loan if he doesn't get gametime. We'll see how that works out.

Also, just saw that Clement wants Badstuber at Swansea. I know people will object because of his injury history but I have felt that this would be a good shout for us as a backup LCB (he is out of contract). When healthy it could be argued he is better than Jan and definitely better than any of our present or prospective alternatives. Good player but would need to prove fitness over a year. But that could be aided in a backup role (fewer games and longer recovery) even if that occurs in a more physical league.

I think Poch's regime doesn't lend itself to this kind of vulnerability to be honest.

Apparently Untd have signed Juves chief scout Javier Ribalta. I have always rated Juves scouting so this could be a very good signing for utd

But you don't deny it would be a good shout as he is undeniably better than anything we are looking at? Also, his injuries have been kind of flukey and not too dissimilar to Lamela's or Jan's, neither of which have been our 'Cal Ripken's' (forgive the americanism that probably doesn't translate).

I'd love him at Spurs just for his name.

Or he could go in the way of other recent Juventus imports like Marko Pjaca.
Pjaca was extreamly unlucky. Not often you get a stress fracture and tear your ACL in one season. Allegri seems to rate him highly tho, even now, and he's only 21 so there is no reason to think his career at Juve is finished.

Mbappe offered 140k to stay at Monaco. Tax free! I know where I'd stay. Earning 140k a week and living in Monaco, I reckon I could deal with that life
