Juventus and @sampdoria_en confirm that they have agreed not to finalise the transfer of Patrik Schick.

He's supposedly failed his medical. Italian side's are usually very thorough when it comes to medicals. I remember Almunia having to retire after Cagliari discovered a heart defect during his medical with them.

Shame for Schick, as he is some talent. I wonder if another team will take a chance with him though? Whatever his future in the game, I hope his health is prioritised, especially if some of the reports are accurate that Juve detected a cardiac issue.
Samp's owner denied it was a heath issue.

A subsequent delay led to speculation Juventus had uncovered something untoward during medical tests on Schick – something strenuously denied by Sampdoria owner Massimo Ferrero this week, when he labelled the impasse to be "a farce".

"Sampdoria won't go back a millimetre on any agreements," he said when asked about a loan.

"The boy is healthy, he can play, but now we have to worry about who has put out rumours that could damage the image of one of the brightest talents in European football."

Looks a fantastic talent. Hope we're interested.

Prob gone under the radar but if Sheyi Ojo joins Fulham from Liverpool on loan I would fear they are building a platform for Sessegnon to join them in January/next summer (e. g first refusal, or simply a more sympathetic ear) by establishing a 'relationship' of sorts. Signing Robertson from Hull who is not all that, for less than £10m wouldn't rule them out of signing Sessegnon IMO. Hope Ojo goes to Boro instead. Think Sessegnon would be amazing for us, but not being able to seal a deal this summer will prob cost us when others wade in
Sessegnon would still have to agree to moving there though and by the ITK we had it sounds like he would prefer to stay in London

Swansea could be having Bony back.

Sigurdsson is actually training happily at fairwood interestingly.

Milan also bid for him in a cash plus bertolacci deal.

Was about to post the same. It's not as if either player is flexible to play in other positions either. Insane.

...and given Tripps was a City player back in the day, and has surpassed - for whatever reason - Walker in Poch's thinking.

Just proves the long term plan is more fruitful than jabbing money at probs.

Not sure why its a surprise that City are after another RB as well as Walker. For systems like Pep's and Poch's you need modern, pacey, athletic attacking fullbacks getting up and down the flank all game, so you need a couple of options in each position. Sticking a centre back there to 'do a job' etc. just isn't good enough these days. They're important positions and not an afterthought anymore.

It doesn't prove that. They will have better right backs than us this season I imagine. Money means absolutely nothing to them
