Premier league spending this January was more than La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A combined.

In Italy, only £20m spent this Jan.

PL really is going to dominate European football, another reason why Kane should be staying here rather than go to Madrid. This is where the party is at.

I don't have the stats but I wouldn't be surprised if that's been the case every transfer window for a few years. Except for in seasons where Real or Barca throw silly money around like the Bale or Ronaldo transfers, I imaging most of the time the PL spends far more than they all do. You've got bottom-half teams in the prem with budgets bigger than title-challengers in other leagues nowadays. It's mad.

Adenoma Lookman gone to RB Leipzig..sad indictment of PL that..really talented lad not given a chance

Sounds like it will be great for his development:

Lookman scores on debut
Borussia Moenchengladbach 0-1 RB Leipzig

Ademola Lookman struck the winner on his debut three days after leaving Everton on loan as RB Leipzig won at Borussia Moenchengladbach.

The 20-year-old moved on deadline day despite Sam Allardyce urging him to take a loan in England.

After being on the pitch for 11 minutes, Lookman drove into the bottom corner for an 89th-minute winner.

He became the first Englishman to score in the Bundesliga since Owen Hargreaves at Bayern Munich in 2005. Impressive.

Deulofeu has gone under the radar for some of the top teams out there. Massive game tonight for Watford. Could be proven a good deal for them.

Nope. He was shit for Everton, Milan and last season, with limited opportunities at Barca. I believe he scored a worldly just after joining Everton against Arsenal. It’s just the kind of player he is, flashes of talent amongst a lot of mediocrity.

Definitely. A bit like Shaquiri at Stoke. On his day he could get into any team in the world however that day only comes along once every 15 games.

Atrocious player. Only plays for himself. Like the kind of signing Sugar would have made in 1997.

He was far from shit at Everton and last year at Milan. Koeman just didn't fancy him. I think he was Milan's second best chance creator last year and he only joined them in January. He's not good enough for a top 6 side and he doesn't score enough goals, but he's definitely good enough for sides below the top 6.

Still only 23 as well.

Hes had a lot of problems though, was a thread on it.

Have had personal dealings with him and know people who know him well from his time at Swansea he has his demons hopefully he will get over them all a classic case of a young guy getting everything a bit to early

And the shameful thing about this industry is that rather than try to understand what went wrong for him people will ridicule him and call him a 'failure' etc. He'll then appear in one of those 'top ten most disappointing prospect' lists that people feel the need to create.
