See Arsenal being linked with Seri. I was hoping that if others didn't come off, he might be one of our back up options. Not quite in the Keita bracket, but a good little player. Tenacious, busy and can play a bit too.

Anyone watched any MLS football this season? I follow the Whitecaps a fair bit, and their Winger, Alphonso Davies is a talent! Still very very raw, but 17/18 years old! Has electric pace and has a habit of turning defenders inside out...

Contract expires this year (optional extension on the table) but would be a good coup I think...especially for the North American market!

Don't we buy a raw, pacey winger every window and then spend the season wondering why they hell they never play?

He's Canadian. Nobody cares about Canadians.

1 goal in 46 MLS matches is tough to get excited about.

I understand his numbers aren’t impressive and N’Jie/N’Koudou aren’t much to go off...I guess the main thing I was think was the N’wingers were both early 20’s when we signed them whilst Davies is still 17...

One to maybe keep an eye on, trialed at United not so long ago, so clearly he has eyes on him already

I was kidding - I think he is a top prospect. But, as you say still a bit raw. We would have to buy him, and then loan him out to a lower league to get experience. Seems more likely that he will either go directly to a lower level European league, or to a club willing to pay him more, while still loaning him out.

He’s one of those I think that could be a good guy just to have on the books, even if we bought him and had him here for 5 years, with multiple loan spells, he would still be younger than N’Koudou is now, still so much room for development, could be a good little coup

Spent last 10 years in Vancouver and have watched a lot of MLS and specifically the Whitecaps. Alfonso Davies is a real talent without doubt. The issue is that the quality of the MLS is Championship standard at best so is often hard to gauge what talented actually is. That being said I think Davies has as good a shot of anyone in MLS to make it elsewhere. Vancouver have been very good to him and looked after him well as he joined so young so I would be surprised to see him leave.

I understand that, I watch the MLS round up shows on Sky and some of the quality is really questionable at times, but on a few occasions, Davies finds ways of beating like 3 players in tight spaces which is a natural gift, especially when he is so young!

I think he is probably one of the youngsters in the MLS with the most potential, I also really like Tyler Adams at NYRB, think he is a good talent too!

Found this quote from Kluivert kind of telling: "I am not renewing my contract at Ajax. Too much has happened. The decreasing morale, lack of confidence, trying to sell me Tottenham without me knowing."

Seems like a failure of club, agent, and player. From what I have heard from Ajax fans, this kid is not ready to switch leagues and is taking a big risk.

Liverpool are apparently close to signing Fekir.

Add Keita, and they are shaping up to have a frightening side next year.

Weird bit of once off itk, which requires a tonne of salt. My friend met someone who's friends with Sturridge's wife and he said that Sturridge will be in the MLS within 2 years. Im well aware that this is a massive 'he said-she said' but im just sharing what i was told

Don't rule out Fekir replacing Griezman at At.Madrid.. they will have a battle with a good few clubs to get him..he's a fantastic player..risky amount of money though considering his injury record..

Depending what happens with Zidane..Ceballos could be they're first signing..depending on where they play him he could be another Coutinho type of signing..bags of talent

Given that his body's almost completely given up on him I wouldn't be surprised at all if he went there this summer.

Mirror reporting that Dembele
(Barcelona) is available for loan this upcoming season in a bid to recapture some form after injury hit season.

Says Klopp is interested.
Also states that a deal for Fekir to Liverpool is 99% complete.

Fee...circa £60 million.

If the latter is true regarding Fekir, not sure if Dembele would fancy a loan there.
