I think Arsenal are making the sort of signings they should be so far, just strengthening their core a little bit. They don't need big signings, they need smart signings.

Yup, they've got plenty of attacking, if a little flaky, talent and are bringing in hard working solid pros so far rather than Wenger's show ponies. Smart moves so far.

Is that Leno any good? I hear he's highly rated, but then see stats about him making lots of mistakes.

Anyone seen the Benik Afobe transfer??
1st of June he moved from Bournemouth to Wolves for £10 million, having declared he always wanted to play in the PL for them (he has played in League One & Championship with them).
12 days later he's loaned out to Stoke who have an obligation to sign him permanently in January...

Still young, got potential but yeah has had a bad season apparently and wasn't selected for Germanys world cup squad.

Strikes me as a goalkeeper who needs a change but not sure he is the right man for Arsenal, think he could take a while to settle in the Premier League. But then he might do an Ederson and settle straight away, relatively low fee so I think worst case they could sell him back to a Bundesliga team and not lose any money.

Fair enough. I suppose not being selected for the German squad based on their crop of keepers is no disgrace. I wouldn't say Cech was as weak a link as the arsenal fans made out, but always preferred seeing him in goal.

Ive already seen some suggesting arsenal are dark horses for the title because of their signings... ?

West Ham look to be signing Diop from Toulouse. He's actually not a bad young CB. One of those tall gangly sorts who's quite fond of the occasional charge up the pitch. Reminds me a bit of Gardner, and I don't mean that as a bad thing, I thought Gardner was not top drawer but was a decent enough CB who's career was ruined by injury.

Breaking | PSG will not be sanctioned for supposed Financial Fair Play infringements - UEFA find no immediate wrongdoing.
PSG will however have to raise €60m by the end of the month (likely a Goncalo Guedes sale) & UEFA add that their 2017 transfers "remain under close scrutiny".

Club that brings in lots of dodgy money from abroad in FIFA let-off shocker...

Felipe Anderson getting close to a possible move to West Ham. Djises, he was just recent linked with Manchester United. I hope he realises that it's the wrong United team he's being sold to...

Felipe Anderson would be an amazing signing for West Ham. I think he'd be a huge hit. Would have liked us to have a go for him.

Haha yeah they were before at least. I don't know.

I don't follow Atletico closely but they should try to have Costa as their main man for at least another year, his style suits Simeone perfectly. Try to bring in another second striker/wing forward type for more goal threat. Maybe they plan to use Correa more?

He's only 29? Wouldn't he be there a few more years?

So, er, Greizmann has made a video to give his decision, with a hashtag #LaDecisión. It'll be shown later on.

That's normal, right? LeBron James already did this, eight years ago, but he was up there in the top 3 in the sport. Even the pundits who thrive on such news are calling this tiresome.

So did I to be fair but thought was early thirties!

(the years have not been kind to him).

I thought he was between 31-33. Then they have a proper CF for at least 2-3 years if nothing happens with him.
