Thought he was pretty bad during the World Cup.

What do our regular viewers of Serie A make of him?

Madrid closing in on Courtois for 35m Euro. Bargain these days.

Hopefully Chelsea get Alisson, unlikely to be an upgrade and leaves no top rated options for Liverpool.

Courtois is in the last year of his contract and thinks £200k per week (chavski's offer) is an insult.

So whilst I agree the fee may seem small, the total package will probably be the largest expenditure on a goalkeeper ever.

He wants out, he would not have accepted any chelsea offer. He had a ok season last year but I put that down to conte pissing everyone off. He is a good buy at 35m.

Is there a specific spot where we can discuss the overall transfers for Spurs? Its hard not to clog the player threads when one discussion leads to another player and there isn't really a spot to discuss the overall transfer window from a Spurs perspective. I think its something we all would like as we try to do it often but people get pissy that it spams the player threads.

Where the hell are Liverpool getting all this money from? They've pretty much always been an average net spend team now they're going to blow all the Coutinho money plus a ton more? Strange unless they're betting against Salah leaving next year and just forecasting those funds.

They're a big PL team. If the likes of West Ham, Everton, Stoke etc can blow £50 mill plus net in a transfer window, I don't see why Liverpool can't stretch to a £100 net without having to sell their best player.
