adam armstrong's so good, this from yesterday his 10th goal in 13 games

I wanted him in the summer and I still want him now, he wouldn't come but he would be perfect for us. He can play LW, RW, ST and no.10. The other thing is, he has a very good understanding with Onomah, the two have always linked up well for the England teams

One of the reason why Brown and Roberts have been dropped at times.

Why wouldn't he come?? We're the team of the moment for developing young talent.

They'd likely have to if they went down though...:sneaky:

Tbh I wouldn't mind him or Abrahams I think they're both potentially good strikers. We'd stand a lot better chance in getting Abrahams though.

Though Armstrong is killing it at the moment

He is a newcastle fan and will get a chance there and as for your second statement he may look at his teammates and think they aren't getting minutes but then opposite argument is that we don't have another striker bar Kane.

If they go down, he wont be leaving, I think I can guarantee as much. They will build the team around him, Colback, Dummet, Lascelles and Woodman/Darlow.

They aren't going to go down tbh, they have been starting to play well but going down would be the best thing for them as they do need an enema of sorts to get the shit out

If he'd want to stay though...right.

If they get relegated and offers come in from PL clubs then I'd say there'd be a good chance of it.
Your underestimating the power newcastle has over Geordies, its like a light to a mosquito. They don't need it to survive but they just always have to worship it. Geordies only leave Newcastle when the club needs them to leave and financially a relegation wouldn't hurt them as they are in good shape

Plus when you consider that he will be a first 11 player, he wont turn it down as he will still be a first team player when they get back in the PL which is arguably quicker than signing for a PL club and being a back up.

Nah. Anyway, whatever.

if THEY WENT DOWN, I WOULD BE EVEN MORE RELUCTANT TO LEAVE TBH. Ooops, scuze the caps lock.

But yeah, the drop down a division gives him a lot more scope for regular playing time imo and his age that is absolutely vital in terms of development. Regular first team football over a full season. It's like a good brekkie, it sets you up going forward. Like wot @beats1 just said before I bothered typing this redundant post.

He looks a very good player. Got a brain in his head.

It might be the best thing for him but very hard to resist the pull of the PL these days if teams are seriously pursuing you.

Either way, he's a fucking animal and I want him here. Saying that, Vardy is a rabid mutt as well and I'd have him here too. Love intense players.

u16s lost to France 3 nil and came last in the tournament, but the talk is that generally our players looked the best and Jadon Sancho was player of the tournament. As I said before it sounds like the coaches are still trying to find their best team and still not everyone was available. Pitch was bobbly apparently, and hard for dribbling and passing. Unsurprisingly the u16 players were more a bunch of individuals than a team but once they settle they will be good watch.

Not too uncommon now

Jay DaSilva and his brothers cost a 5 figure sum but Luton get a million if they make the Chelsea first team which Jay should, I don't think the others will.

Brahim Diaz cost £300k rising to £2.4 for city as well at the age of 14, he was wanted by barca

Hachim Mastour cost €500k at 14 years old and is currently on loan at Malaga for 2 seasons

Chelsea signed some 14 year old who featured for Nigeria in the u17 world cup at 14! Don't know how much he cost but he couldn't be too cheap

Celtic paid a lot for a goalkeeper at 13 who was on trial that week with liverpool

Chelsea signed a player that can join them till he is 16 and at the moment he is 13. Meanwhile I can't remember the name but I know Arsenal spent a lot of money on some unknowns and throwing huge money around the age groups at 17 and lower.

You mean a moth to a flame. A mosquito will just lift it's middle finger and give you a little "fuck you very much." When presented with a light...

Saying "like a mosquito to carbon dioxide" doesn't really have the same ring to it.
