He's evidently not showing enough in training for Poch to think to give him a chance

Shows the difference between a coach's eye and an amateur eye. I had friends at all 3 of the open training sessions here in the US and they all said that GKN was one of the most impressive players they saw there. My friends are dopes!

I honestly think it's the defensive and pressing side of things he's struggling with.

He has talent the other way but in a Poch team you need it all.

Maybe its just he has got it but is not able to replicate consistently/confidently during real game

Keep him. In his limited time last year, he showed he had something. Lets harness that. He's a good talent. Give him a chance. Would be short sighted to get rid of him, IMO.

Did he show he had something?

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying we should get rid because he's had limited opportunities, but I think it's generous to say he showed he had something.

I actually thought we saw more positives from Janssen than from N'Koudou last season.

The frustrating thing is that he's one of the three or four players that have arrived, played exactly as advertised, and we decide that we need to sell them. Fazio, N'Jie, N'Koudou, Sissoko. Are we just super idealistic that we can turn a dimunitive yet skillful speedster into Mane?

He should be playing ahead of Sissoko at the very least.

Now this I would agree with if he was fit, because whilst I don't think N'Koudou has shown what he can do, at least he hasn't conclusively proved what he can't do like Sissoko.

He's just wasting a year if he stay here, clearly haven't got Pochettino's trust. If we sign Sancho we should let him go - preferably a loan as he has a lot of talent. His value will rise when other clubs see him perform

Tbh he has got on the pitch a few more times than some of our other fringe players. Poch must also have seen something in him. Don't think he's a dead duck yet, but we'll see. Probably if someone offers us our money back, or close, then we'd take it, but I don't really know.

Think we had ITK on his physical condition not being quite right/in question, can't remember who posted it though.. might have been @Hercules.

The problem with GKN is that he is still far too raw for a club who have ambitions of fighting for the title in a really competitive league, there's simply no opportunity to really trust him. I think we took a punt believing that we could mould him pretty quickly and realised that there was actually a lot of work to be done - also, he was identified by the previous scouts?

At least we didn't buy him and loan him out immediately like Chelsea & City.

Then we should be buying people we can immediately trust. I get it if he came through our youth ranks, but we bought him (and N'Jie) as they were - promising, young but raw - sat them on the bench, brought them out with 5 minutes left for the odd game here and there and then shipped them off. Either give them a chance or splash more cash and buy someone who's ready to contribute, but doing neither is doing nothing.
