This must be the loss the itk was referring too. Cannot believe we would let him leave. Pouring one out GKNM... we never could get your initials right.

Would make sense if we're signing Jadon Sancho, i think @Hercules mentioned how GKN needs to work on his physical condition. I'd be okay with a loan and figure out it he has a future with us next year.

I really can not understand why we buy a certain type of players then don't really give them a chance. GKN is a very skillful player with devastating pace, his injured at the moment, you'd like to think with the number of games we potentially have this season he could be given more opportunities to play so that we can truly see what he can offer.

He's evidently not showing enough in training for Poch to think to give him a chance

Hellas Verona-Tottenham, negotiations for N'Koudou: the situation

Hellas Verona is interested in bringing Georges-Kevin N'Koudou Mbida. He simply goes by N'Koudou and he is from the class of '95 and is currently owned by Tottenham, who paid 13 million for the player. The Italian club's director Fusco is currently working with Spurs to bring him in on a loan deal.

Hellas Verona makes first official offer for Tottenham's N'Koudou: the latest

Hellas Verona wants N'Koudou from Tottenham. The negotiations have started and the gialloblu have formulated a first official offer to Spurs for a loan with option to buy. DS Fusco continues to work on this potential transfer to ring the player in Serie A as another reinforcement for Pecchia.

Seems like a random link with no real connection between the club and player... I wonder if we have been making it known he is available for a good loan.

The problem with GKN is that he is still far too raw for a club who have ambitions of fighting for the title in a really competitive league, there's simply no opportunity to really trust him. I think we took a punt believing that we could mould him pretty quickly and realised that there was actually a lot of work to be done - also, he was identified by the previous scouts?

At least we didn't buy him and loan him out immediately like Chelsea & City.

I hope he stays and I can't really understand why he hasn't been given more opportunities - in a team crying out for pacy wide players he doesn't make the bench most weeks which tells you something about his standing with Poch. It must be his work in training because I personally think he has had a positive impact in the majority of games he's played, and I'd certainly would of rather seen him come on on Saturday than Sissoko

Also, he is mustard on pro evo and about the only Spurs player you can dribble with on there so if we sell him I'm buggered

If Sancho's videos are anything to go by, the direction of his dribbling, urgency and average position after releasing the ball are superior to Nkoudou's. Inot my mind's eye, I can't see Nkoudou scoring more than 5 goals in an epl season, while this is not the case with Sancho, who seems to like getting at opponents on the counter before numbers/opposition can form, much like Robben.

I'd be disappointed if we let him go as there's a player in there.

Especially how long we fought to sign him lol!

Loan him out for a season otherwise to give him some game time and confidence.
