I guess its all about finding potential before you have to pay £40 million for an 18 year old.

I don't see it as money wasted and Im glad we're not just selling him on to get rid. He's got a chance to prove himself in a squad that hasn't got the pressure on it as ours and if he shines then everybody is happy.

Could we now see KWP played further forward in a few games? Edwards?

Burnley fans are so unimpressed this signing. Actually saw them saying why are we signing this guy! We need Charlie Adam........ Charlie F****** Adam!

Signing a young French kid flies in the face of their concrete Brexit ethos

I like N'Koudou a lot and think he's a dynamic type of player that we don't have. The problem is that we're so good playing open. When a team really tries to play us (Madrid, Liverpool) we destroy them with passing and touch. We just haven't gotten in a situation where we need to stretch the field more than we already do.

Where we struggle is against teams that sit, and we need more technical players with close control, and unless he drastically improves in this area, we just won't find a lot of use for him.

The type of player who needs the experience. Burnley are a disciplined football outfit, competing well with the big teams and with a good young manager. GKN will hopefully get some meaningful playing time and be ready to compete for a place next season

The loan might be true, but that article is BS, no way can N'Koudou understand Dyche over the phone, no way (Tommy Cooper has better enunciation).

Exactly ITK said 1 out 1 in (admitting this is a loan) so sounds like we should be bringing in 1 player at least.

No point. Lamela's returns negates the need for a replacement. It's not like he was regularly on the bench or, god forbid, starting games before Lamela returned anyway.

Anyway watched the Burnley game ? How did George do?
My brother is a CP season ticket holder and was at the match yesterday. Said N’Koudou was embarrassingly bad when he came on? I personally think he tries too hard at times and will be ok with regular minutes as he won’t have to try so hard to impress.

Your brother doesn’t know what he’s talking about, then. He was decent when he came on, gave the ball away once but passed well, pressed well, put a couple decent crosses in and didn’t do a single thing that would warrant the assertion that he was “embarrassingly bad”.

GKN has never been embarrassingly bad for us, despite not having much opportunity.
