Either way it is a chance for him to show case himself, for Burnley or for us or for any third party, at present he doesn't play so what value does that put on him?

Sean Dyche is a very good manager and as shown he is able to spot a player too.

Will be very interesting to see how N'Koudou works out over there as if he does do well then it reflects badly on us I feel.

Considering how much we put into securing him we really haven't bedded him in very well.

Can see it going the same way as Chalobah's did a few years ago tbh. Might be wrong but Dyche doesn't have a great record with loans I don't think.

Think this might be a good move albeit temporary for the boy as he has hardly had much game time with us so wish him well.

Ridiculous how hard we tried to sign this guy and how it’s panned out. Levy spent all summer haggling and bargaining away on him

Personally thought he looks ok when he’s been given a chance and was meant to be the pacy winger we needed / replacing squad players like Andros so not sure why Poch not played him more

No one comes out of this looking good and that’s multiple windows wasted now signing sub standard wide forwards

Good as gone,poor lad
I see nothing "poor" about it. If he does well at Burnley then he has restarted his career and we may have something to welcome back for our investment. For him personally he gets a chance to show what he can do elsewhere and, if worst comes to worst, put himself in the shop window. For Burnley they get a player regarded as an up and coming talent to help with their bid to finish above Arsenal.

Everyone's a winner!

It's all a gamble. At the end of the day every signing is a risk in terms of how they will fit into the league or even just the team. Given we don't spend mega bucks on players this is the only way we can do it. Speculating on up and coming talent.

Every time I saw him playing for Spurs he looked lost like fish out of the water.

I realise that but there is a massive opportunity cost here in terms of time spent closing the deal that summer and multiple wasted windows trying to fill this gap in the squad. If this had been a very simple deal that hadnt stopped any transfer business on other higher quality more established players in that position - which is a glaring gap in our squad - then fair enough let’s speculate.....but it has an impact on our broader squad development which a speculative £10m punt shouldn’t have had

Fondly looking back. We spent the entire summer of 2016 chasing N’Koudou. Will he, won’t he sign. Even a funny video for when he eventually signed on deadline day. All well worth it, happy days....

Burnley fans are so unimpressed this signing. Actually saw them saying why are we signing this guy! We need Charlie Adam........ Charlie F****** Adam!

Never understood why we bought him in the first place. Passing and close control both leave something to be desired. Seems a nice lad though, good luck to him.
