Ben Davies has gave me a little bit of humble pie this season, I was probably his worst critic, often with a few choice words, but really seen him turn things around the last couple of months, so much so I can't remember which game but I gave him MOTM. Then there it was v City, the final straw, the ball was lobbed in in desperation as City tried to snatch victory and my new friend Davies was there to head the ball away, run down the other end and make the pass that won us the corner to kill the game. I had not given a player so much abuse since the days of headless chicken Zokora, but the lesson was learned, no more undeserved harsh words heading Davies way...

The greater point here brings me to Llorente & Sissoko, two players who probably suffered the most abuse by their own (not me :)) most would have drove them to their next destination last summer and both have turned out to be two of our most important players this season, Llorente with his vital goals and Sissoko where without him we wouldn't have had a midfield. They have gave their all this season when many fans had long given up on them, so let's get behind our own... Let's start by laying off Trippier and Eriksen, the new villians...

Davies has struggled this season, but said recently that he's finally over an injury he had been carrying for a while. And presto, he's been good lately.

As he has been up until this season.

Sorry mate, I pay my money, if I think somebody has a shocker I'll call them out. I've seen some utter dross over the years and quite rightly they've been slated.

btw Ben Davies isn't in that category to me he's a solid pro and a good squad member

I while I do not condone being abusive to players, I am not going to give them credit when it is not due. If a player is not pulling his weight and not performing to the standard that we know he can, I have every right to call him out. You mentioned both Eriksen and Trippier and they are prime examples of players who I dearly love but at the same time will criticize their performances, which on a whole this season have been poor by their own standard.

Ben Davies for me is pretty much the perfect second choice full-back. Without blinding pace he’s always going to frustrate a little when you need that edge in the biggest games, but he’s a dependable defender, always has a good attitude and very rarely drops a bollock.

This has probably been his worst season (interesting if he’s been carrying an injury) but he’s still been solid in my opinion.

Not gonna lie, I had turned off in fear at this point in the match, but anyways, well done Ben.

I wish one of our left-backs was right footed.

Mauricio Taricco was a right footed left back who could play RB but also Loved a Red card,I think he made a comeback at a very old age for one game and got sent off.

I absolutely fucking hate this attitude.

Being a supporter means that you get behind the team, which means that you get behind the players wearing the shirt - whether or not you think they're 'having a shocker' or whether you think they're total crap and you could do a better job.

Whether a player in a particular game - or in every game - doesn't meet your expectation of what his standard should be is irrelevant. You're not a fucking critic. He's playing for Spurs. You get behind him. That's your job.

When you have a job you get [aid for it .I dont get paid to support Spurs in fact I pay a lotof money for that privilege.
This gives me the right to critique players whose wages I pay. we are supporters and free men with opinions nor slaves.
