Yeah, Ghaly debuted at his "bigger club" that came in for him a few days ago and i just noticed no-ones mentioned it

Egyptianplayers.com said:
12-1-2008: Ghaly made his first appearence this season and his debut for Derby in their home clash with Wigan. Ghaly did well considering it was his first game in months. He got a chance to set up a goal for Barnes but the latter couldn't score. Generally, Wigan were the better side and they took advantageof the sending off of Rams' Davis as they scored late in the 2nd half.

There's likely some video's or something too in the multimedia section but, and i know some will disagree, best of luck to him - attitude problem or not, if he makes the effort Derby have signed a good player there. Just have to hope that they glued that dummy in good and proper, save him both moaning himself out of a job AND maybe keep him from losing more teeth

I think ghaly will do pretty well at Derby.

He's a decent player and was excellent in what were probably our 2 best performances last season. I would have liked to see him have more opportunities at Spurs, I still believe that he is better than some of the CM's we have.

I wonder if Ramos ever considered using him?

Looks likely the club decided he was never coming back after the Brum incident. (and the shirt incident)

He's good enough for the prem league, when he's on form of course

Unless Wendy got in there with a call early i doubt he even got to talk to him - Ghaly was openly quoted as saying he didn't ever want to play for us again, even under Wendy, and would wait for an offer from a "bigger club"

I might be wrong, Wendy might have rung him early and said, "Oi, Ghaly, what was all that shirt chucking shit about? I want you to stay but if you do that again i'll stick that shirt so far up your arse it'll knock out more teeth"...

I think both Savage and Ghaly are excellent signings for Derby.

Both are very short on match fitness, so it will take them a while to show their worth. They won't be enough to save them this season, but quality palyers for a championship campaign.

Well.

This is a loan deal, which i think is great for everyone, whether you hate Ghaly or love him.

if he fails to make an impact at Derby, we can offload him.
if he plays well, then we have the option of keeping him.

Mate, I'd say the options are really:

if he fails to make an impact at Derby, we'll have to release him for free.
if he plays well, then we might be able to get our money back.

And thats as good as it gets. He ain't coming back to the Lane.
