Actually, I suppose it could all be faxxed through but it seems a bit weird for such a potentially big signing. Maybe he and some Barca reps, agent, etc are in/coming to London.

Knowing how the deal (that JTG is saying 'done' to :roll: ) usually works - i.e. we display the player about a week after all the papers and ITK say it's done - I wouldn't expect any confirmation today. Having said that, there were reports that we were trying to get things done before the EUROs. Doesn't leave us long.

not to be too snarky, but i don't believe this bit of info applies here. presumably the idea behind getting deals done before euros would be to get players in before their price rises. dos santos is mexican so i think this wouldn't be an issue.

Oh apologies if someone mentioned this before, but it says on Spanish Wikipedia that he's got a Spanish passport, so he wouldn't need a work permit.... (Latin Americans can get a Spanish passport after 2 years in Spain...)

Just reading in the Sun that we impressed him when he came to see us in January thats when he decided to "sign" for us! Think they are quoting £12 million we are paying for him!
However Inter and City are still hoping to change his mind! Not too concerned about city as at the moment I think most players would have to be out of there mind to go to City considering whats going on there with there owner! But am bit concerned about Inter jumping in at last minute!
Really hope this signing comes off and soon as getting very impatient as been in this situation with Tottenham so many times where all papers and other news sources are saying we have pratically signed class players in the past such as Diego few years ago! Then only to suffer imense disapointment when they end up siging for someone else!
