At this rate, there could be a thread named bag of crisp with a video attached and it will generate minimum of 10 pages.
Is the bag Italian? Does it like ice cream? Can it play up front? Is it in the last year of its contract?

Think this dude is the mystery Italy player all makes sense

A bit of a raw talent but could be the next big thing

Can play LW,ST,RW,CF

Has some tricks can dribble although it's pretty raw with him he's kind of like a Suarez.

As eyes for a pass, has fancy flicks I would be happy to take him!

Young as well

Hits all our criteria

Except for the whole mystery part.

His availability is no secret following the Fiorentina and Torino interest.

I agree on everything else though.

A lot will depend on his mentality and the ability to handle pressure, whilst playing and training at a higher tempo

He'll be leaving a mid-table shambles of a club (filing Uefa paper-work late??!!) to join a title-challenging club, under intense media scrutiny domestically and around the world

However, some players thrive on that so I guess we'll just have to wait and see

"On the Serie A front, Genoa have been in touch with Tottenham to discuss a potential transfer of Giovanni Simeone (striker) and Diego Laxalt (attacking winger).

Laxalt had previously been linked with a move to Chelsea whilst Simeone is one of the most promising strikers in Italy at the moment.

The 22-year-old is the son of Atletico Madrid coach Diego and scored 12 goals in his first 35 Serie A games last season.

According to Genoa-based paper Il Secolo XIX, Spurs have asked information about both players who could leave the Marassi for a combined € 35/40 million fee."

the Scoutnation video below shows the best of him, obviously, and what you see are lots of headed goals, a hard worker, comfortable running with the ball and at defenders - either to get into a good position or win a free kick further up field. Decent assists for his team mates and quite a few unconventional finishes for himself (off balance shots or awkward headers). Looks decent, and you can see why Poch would want to work with him. The attitude to work and (presumably) learn is a major plus, as well as the price of course..

35 mill euro is about 31-32 million pounds. For two young, sought after first team players from Genoa it is about the going rate.

Either that or one Sissoko, 3/5 of a Sigurdsson or one year's wages for Neymar.

Not going to herald him as the second coming, especially after a decent but not exceptional return in Serie A (though it must be noted that scoring goals in Serie A is very hard if you don't play for Juventus or Roma these days), but that video shows a quick, two footed player who runs the channels well and has a pretty good dribble on them, with the added bonus of an aerial threat. Also seems to drop off quite well, contract to the comments about him not being useful with his back to goal.
