Agreed, and back then that was pretty much everything to win. Dont forget we got done by benfica in the european cup. A game which we should have won. Benfica went on to beat real and lift the cup. Had we got there we were good enough to beat real too. It was so close to being absolutely historic.
So this teams not bad but still a long way from how good the double winners were.
