Goal scorers 'A' celebration

Please forgive me if this has been discussed but I had a quick look and couldn't find a thread about it.

On Soccer AM a few weeks ago, they were talking about some goal scorers who made an 'A' with their fingers after scoring. The presenters spoke to a player about it and they said "we will tell you what it means but not yet!".

I watched MOTD last night and spotted another player doing it. Does anyone have any clue about what it means?

They spoke with Andy Johnson in football first i think, dont think they have told us what its about yet.

If it is that, why are the players being so cagey about what the 'A' sign means? "It does mean something but we're not telling you yet!" They should be telling people about it to spread the word.....or maybe the hype and mystery is what they want.

or maybe he was asked to be involved, got the general idea of what it was about, but wasn't confident enough to say what exactly it was in case he got the wrong end of the stick? :shrug:

who knows, good scheme though and it's not the usual mix of ex-pro's and pensioner players from Ipswich Town and Nott's County. As L10 says, there's some heavy skills in that video too :up:
