Yeah because playin football everyday is staying in the shade

Who says they play in the middle of the day?
Anyway, you can propagate your theory that all Africans' skin age much faster than other "races" because of the sun down there. Have you ever thought of the sun they got in Australia, Middle East, Greece, SE Asia can be as strong or stronger than that in Africa?
Like I said, I have lived in Africa and most of those I see have skin with less wrinkles/younger skin than most of those I saw in, say, London.

Theres a hell of a lot more credibility in my theory then yours, including scientific fact. But keep believing all these players are lying about there ages if it makes you feel better, despite most top flight clubs having such technology as 'blood spinning' in its medical departments. A simple age test is not difficult, this is not the early 90's anymore.

We are talking about skin in general and you was claiming that Africans' skin look older that "the rest" due to the sun etc. And I have lived in Africa and seen people of all ages for years, every day, and for some exceptions they have "younger skin" than, say, you Brits.
I have met a few "experts" on Africa in Europe (yes, I am European) who have never been to Africa, but they have read about the continent...
You have read things while have seen and lived with the people and I trust my judgement more than those pages you have read about "old African skin" theories...
Yes, I do know there is technology today to determine people's age but that is not always exact. And yes there are some who genuinely are looking older than their age, also in Africa
My remark about Donsah's age was not meant as fun by the way. Just stating a fact.

You did in fact mention how Africans' skin look older due to the exposure to the sun - and then included Donsah in your conclusion. That is a fact

You really are babbling on now trying to worm your way out of your ignorant post. I implied that intense sunlight could be a factor in why SOME of these young lads might look a bit older. But continue to try to generalize my posts if you want. Your continuous inability to take onboard valid points in discussions only furthers your ignorance.

Anyway, what's this geez like? And does he like playing football in the sun? Bloody Nora!

Oh and that was the 20th January. Did we sign him or will we in the future?

You are the one who's trying to babbling your way out of your theories. If your theory is not meant for Africans in general you then mean that Donsah is the only African who looks older due stong sun exposure

Nope, I said it could be a factor in why some of these African teenagers might look a bit older. But if you want to keep believing they are all lying about their ages the go ahead, we'll have to agree to disagree.

This has quickly gone from a thread about a footballer and his ability to play to talking about whether his skin's gone a bit crispy in the sun or not... Dear oh dear!

Since I don't know much about the guy, I'm watching the Inter-Cagliari match that's going on right now.

Donsah is playing at the RCM in what looks like a 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1. His position has been pretty rigid and it looks like his primary role is to close down space on the right of the pitch.

Overall, it's been a quiet performance for him and Cagliari. They haven't had much possession so it's hard to get a feel for what he really offers on the ball. I feel like he may only have 10-15 passes so far, but for the most part they've been simple, quick touches trying to move the pitch around but with limited numbers or targets at his disposal because of how Cagliari are setting up.

Couple of times he's been offered some space and he really does have some good pace on the ball. He's got a squatty figure, looks like he's got good overall strength and he's really adept at pressing. Cagliari kind of set him up to fail in the pressing given they offered so much space and freedom for Inter. A few times he's done incredibly well to pick up the man coming from midfield into the box and he's taken away the option of an overlapping run from a midfielder on at least two occasions. Seems to read the game generally well except for one minor blip (noted in next paragraph).

Around the 30th minute an Inter player (not really sure who it was), while Inter broke on a counter off a Cagliari corner, made a run in behind him (Donsah was the player sitting back on the corner). The ball was lofted into the box and Donsah was spared as his keeper coming out and claiming the ball over top the Inter player.

Some random 2nd half notes:

Had a ball played to him at the top of the box, took it down beautifully, switched it over to his left and hit an absolute rocket to the low bottom right corner of the goal. Goalkeeper saved it but it was a nice bit of skill.

He was getting forward much more in the half, probably as a result of Cagliari going down 1-0 earlier in the half. He's also got some nice skill on the ball. Not flashy dribbling, but super effective in how he turns.

I was pretty distracted for most of the second half. He looks a decent player. Not sure how good he is given the lack of chances to really shine on the ball during this match.

I never said they are all lying about their ages. Where did I say that? Please show me the quote.
Anyway, even if he should be a few years older than his "official age" but turn out to be as good as Essien I don't care about his age (as long as he signs for Spurs)

You didnt say those exact words, I didnt say that you did which is why I didnt quote you on that. It's what your post implied, and the 'coincidence' that said player is African, which was picked up by another poster as well so its not like it's just me. But hey, I'm willing to take you at your word that you meant no harm and we should just move on now, although I'm hopeful that these jibes at young African players will now stop (not meaning you, just in general).
