I cant remember anyone doing a good luck thread for Chris when he decided to join the Keegan revolution at St James Park ?? Is it me or does nobody wish him 'Good Luck' ?? Or is it the fact nobody want him to be lucky as it means Newcastle will have to be successfull ??

But then by wishing him good luck you inturn wish Newcastle good luck and they are one of the teams that annoy me most

So that being said I hope he does well and gets praised for his efforts but ultimatiely NEwcastle stay in the lower half of the table for the years to come

I thought there was a thread on this? Maybe not, well good luck Chris, do you think he's be responsible for the Geordies current run of form? He surely knew how to out do us anyway...

Maybe the reason for Newcastles survival is solely down to Chris's expertise ?? Put it like this, we never got relegated when he was here either ?? & he was highly respected in the dressing room by many players thru the years.

I had a letter posted on F365 a couple of weeks back suggesting that Newcastle's resurgence had in fact had nothing to do with Keegan (they were shite under him for weeks) but happened within 2 weeks of Chrissy H's appointment.

I don't think that's coincidence. And I also think they would have been in deep, deep shit if he hadn't have gone there.

So it's all his fault we've got to put up with Keegan in the EPL for another few years.

He was a very fine servsnt to this club - in whatever positin he was put into, from player, coach, transport manager, assistant manager.......

Was he good enough for the level we want to be at? I doubt it.

Now he has a shiny new clipboard and is caught up in the circus that is newcastle united.........he needs all the luck he can get!!

Is it me, or has there been something of a slight switch around in the roles of the head coach and assistant coach at Spurs? Gus seems to have slipped into Martin's old role as the affable media frontman and arm-around-the-shoulder motivator, while Ramos and his blackboard have taken over from Chrissie and his clipboard. Obviously that oversimplifies more than a bit, but a coaching partnership need skills that compliment one another. I suspect Chrissie had been grossly underestimated by Spurs fans.

Will Keegan even be Newcastle manager next season? I thought his comments the other day about the chairman having unrealistic goals was an invitation -- probably intentional -- to be fired. What would happen to Hughton, then, I wonder?

After being an assistant manager in a premiership club for so long, has HUghton never considered going into management? Saying that, after seeing whats happened to all our managers over the years, maybe he's decided that being assistant is probably better for his long term health.
