Which is precisely why VAR is a stupid idea. No one agrees on decisions even days later, so how is VAR gonna some anything?!

But you get that in other sports that use it like rugby and cricket. Only really tennis is dealing with absolutes with no grey areas. There are too many permutations in football to be able to get to a point where everyone agrees on every decision but if it can be used to mop up things like offside goals or those two handball goals Arsenal scored last season then it'll be beneficial to the game. Provided it can become more efficient, which it should do given time.

Actually, that’s quite clear as a law. The problem is that feinting isn’t well defined. If stopping isn’t feinting, and I can’t see how it is feinting, then the Ref can still decide it’s unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Feinting rule is bollocks. Its a pen you should be able to do what you want. Its about entertainment and scoring goals. Many goalkeepers at penalties are outrageously unsporting and yet hardly ever get penalised. All the banging of their gloves is a typical example to distract a pen kicker. We want goals for major infringements in the box.
