I am in Liverpool and heading off to Aintree in approx an hour

Haven't taken part in this as been on holiday but a few tips today

Chapoturgeon will win the 3.25
Rock on Ruby will win the 2.50

Both around 9/4

In the National I am on Killyglen and West End Rocker

and in the race after the National Inis Meain is a fascinating runner at 28/1

So many of us have selected the same horses that I know I can't make up lost ground today.

However, it should be an exciting day's racing and I sincerely hope all the horses (and jockeys) come through unscathed. Good luck everyone x

No-one has selected them so far, but NRs are Ted Spread in the 5.05 and Spirit of Shankly in the 5.35.

If you were of a superstitious nature, you might think the latter is an omen for Liverpool's fate today.

2.50 - only the winner counts again. Zarkander was a faller and Ruby took a nasty fall too and received medical attention. Both ok.

1. Oscar Whisky :)

Ruby not riding in the 3.25 race after his fall in the 2.50 - so P Brennan riding Chapoturgeon. Will Ruby be ok for the GN?

The answer to the above post is NO. Ruby ruled out for the rest of the card after that fall, which did look nasty.

5, Cosmic.

I heard this morning that some firms were going with 6 -7 and even first 8 places E/W.
