Is it just my imagination, or is this song increasingly being used as a song/chant during games these days? I was away last season and the season before I didn´t hear it at all where I was. But during the Wigan game I heard the East Stand singing it quite a lot. Very nice.

I think your right, Everton sing it as well. We actually sung it a few times in Park lane against Wigan, but we sing it really badly, far too fast and then fade away to an embarrasing finale.

We need some training. !!!!!

To be honest it gets really quiet in this bit 'cos I don't think many people know it. And it could be wrong and the reason I get so many looks. [I always put that down to me being gorgeous - it might be singing the wrong words then :lol: :wink:]

i think its more of a pub song than on the terrace.

No you are not wrong, Celtic stole it from us following the friendly game in 1967, when we beat them 3-2. This was our song from the 1950's.

The first time I heard it was when my dad and his mates were getting ready to go to the cup final against Leicester, and were meeting at our house in the morning. It was that day that I became a Spurs fan.

Are you sure I always thought it was a Celtic Song. Also having a look round the interweb I can't find anything about it being a Spurs song first. :shrug:
