Looking at the Swindon forum, the consensus seems to be that Chelsea were happy to sit back and let Swindon keep possession; Luongo and Kasim, on whom they seem to have a collective man-crush, bossed midfield, but without Mason they lacked the final pass and did not do enough to force the issue. Pritchard lively but deemed to be a bit wasteful and needs to work on his corners. Concern about Hall seems to be a slight lack of pace.

Willian was apparently terrible.

Willian was terrible. Luongo and Kasim both looked like players.

On that showing, if Willian's a £30million plus agent backhanders & owner bribes player, then we should have signed Luongo & Kasim to long contracts and offered them PSG or Monaco for £50 million the pair.

I still suspect that Abramovich & Mourinho signed Willian to spite AVB and sabotage his plans.

At the moment, apart from bigging up Oscar and dissing Mata, Jose seems to have no idea how to use his dozen or so top class AMs.

Thank fuck.

I honestly think we dodged a bullet there.

And that's not 20:20 hindsight either. I was extremely dubious at the time for the price quoted, and mighty relieved when it was hijacked. I was doing my best to convince myself I was excited and pleased by his signing, but it was a hard task...

On the topic of the thread: It's a hard choice for me as to which should be 1 & 2 in my signature. I think Pritchard could be an absolutely stellar player.

Chief Sports Writer of Swindon paper on Swindon win tonight :

Star man for me tonight was between Hall, Barthram & Pritchard. I've gone for Hall. Accomplished on the ball, committed off it. Top display.

MOTM between 2 Spurs loanees and an ex Spurs player.

According to the SSN reporter at the game Pritchard was the man of the match and running the show in their 2-0 victory over Notts County tonight. Made the first goal with a set piece and got a standing ovation when he came off late for Mason.

Pritchard is promising. But I think he has to move on in January if possible and try the next step.

Should deal with one league higher

http://thetownend.com/index.php?topic=52746.120 loads of adulation for Prithchard here.

I don't see him making it for us because we've come so far but he'll probably be a good champioship/low end PL player.

I don't mean to sound harsh but it's the most likely truth.
I don't know, from what I've heard there is a greater buzz around him at Spurs than with any of our recent youth players, and three of them have been capped by England...

I've never seen him in the flesh yet, so can't really make an informed judgement. Nice to see he has become the main man for Swindon so quickly though.
