Sorry I don't see it. The was no worse bobble than you get on any pitch. I don't want to diss the guy as he's been great lately, but the miss was more down to technique - he was leaning back, head behind the ball at impact.

Yes, there was. You not seeing the bobble only says something about your eyesight, it is there, clear as day. He still should've scored, though.

I noticed one ?
But you see, you're being objective, whereas the other poster just doesn't like Lamela and the type that always pops up to denigrate him. They tend not to say negative stuff about any fault Kane makes. I don't buy the bit about not wanting to diss him.

Sounds to me like you're looking for excuses that aren't there. He even had time to control with his right then shoot.
He was arriving at speed, so no he did not. He wanted to hit the ball early and would have buried it. Then again, whose opinion should I accept, your's or Pep's?

Watched this game and sure, we could have equalised but in truth they were a class above us and could/should have won by a bigger margin.

Fact is if a ball moves up even an inch it's going to change the trajectory of a shot or pass especially when trying to hit it first time. And that chance had to be taken first time and sat up 2 or 3 inches.
