Let's hope we'd have learnt our lesson from last time :censored:

Yeah. We got skanked buying sissoko at the end of the window, imagine what people will want with 150m in the bank.

Steve parish: yeah we know tottenham have resources so we feel 75m is a fair price for zaha.

Say what!!!!

What if they offered a million million pounds and first offer on his Panini swaps?
You'd have to think it over, surely.

Xavi can go fuck himself, the sellout
“Is Xavi working for Manchester City maybe? He wants to help Guardiola,” said Pochettino, who used to manage Barca’s city rivals Espanyol.

“He’s in a period when he loves to talk, in Doha. But he was a Barcelona player – he’s my enemy. He tries to destroy our focus to win because he hates me, because he’s Barcelona.

“Because we are doing things and the club has a lot of potential, the focus is on our talented players.

“We remembered the game where Xavi cheated the referee,” said Pochettino. “He fell, it wasn’t a penalty, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored for Barcelona and they won.

“The defender was Raul Baena. Xavi fell down and said ‘penalty’, and they gave a penalty.

“It was very funny because the video showed no one touched him. Everyone in the media was saying it was a penalty. It goes from lie to lie to lie.”

YEAH. You tell 'em! Rar!

Sure it was said half-jokingly..

None of us like reading this story but it's going to come up. Fact is we have one of the best teams in Europe (I'd argue top ten at a push) but we're not in the top 50 or so when it comes to money. We need to make our players believe in the project, why move to a team below us in the league? We can win all our remaining games that'll make a few minds up.

Scene one:
A groups of weedy looking Spurs fans are being poked in the eye by big (not so big) bad Xavi "My brother Pep is going to take your lunch and your toys and there is nothing you can do."

Scene two: Xavi is being carried off on a stretcher and the tiny Spurs fans are cheering....in the distance they see Poch chasing after a geeky looking bald kid.

Scene three: Levy and Poch are giving Pep a bog wash.

End

Even if we were to sell him for a 150 million I have doubts we would spend it properly.

We'd build an extension to the Cheese Room to house the finest Crackers in the world!!!

Xavi should stick to being a poor man's Robert Downey Jr lookalike, now that his playing days are over.
