"If Pep Guardiola is to be believed, Isco will suit up for him at Manchester City next season. The news will come as a cruel blow to other interested clubs like Tottenham, Chelsea and Juventus.

News of the Spanish midfielder’s move to England doesn’t represent any real surprise. It shouldn’t even shock anyone that he’s headed to play for Pep at City. Really the only surprising information here is the reported transfer fee of just £30 million."

Let's face it, we all knew we were never in a million years going to sign the lad, but if it really comes to light he's gone to them and epecially for 30m, it won't half feel like a kick in the b*llocks, even with his ties to Guardiola.

What ties??
One plays for Madrid, the other managed Barcelona.
That's like saying "Alli's ties to Mourinho".... unless I'm missing something somewhere, like an agent.

Gabriel Jesus
Leroy Sane
Raheem Sterling
Kevin de Bruyne

All in the same age bracket.
All young, gifted, versatile forwards.
All big money signings.

How does Isco fit in?

They've pretty much been playing 4-1-4-1 most of the season so Isco would take Silva's spot in the 4.

They're both Spanyard's, with Guardiola long having respect for the Spanish international. It doesn't take a genius to see why he'd be able to snap him up above other clubs should the roumers be true.
