The Club is delighted to announce that the next inductee to Hall of Fame will be David Ginola.

To celebrate this right of passage, a Hall of Fame dinner is being held in the Club Marquee at White Hart Lane on Thursday 11 December.

Many of David's team-mates from 1997 to 2000 will be present on the evening.

One of the game's great entertainers, David played 100 games for us and scoring 13 goals.

He earned a famous double award for his displays in the 1998-99 season when he was voted PFA Player of the Year and Football Writers Player of the Year - the season he helped us to a League Cup triumph at Wembley and the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

    Here here!!

Off on a slight tangent, has anyone seen The Last Drop? Ginola acts in it! It's really rather funny to watch!

one of the best parts of my life. New driving licence, parking up in Middlesborough Ave every week, getting in for a tenner a game on a kids junipor spurs membership, to watch the gin tear people up for a year. What a time, what a player.

And we did win a trophey so werent too dark..

Ginola is a legend (official now!)

Couldn't be happier for him. The one reason I looked forward to watching spurs. On the pitch he was sensational, off the pitch he was friendly, an ambassador and always had time for the fans.

David Ginola will forever adorn the walls of our hall of fave, in a most illustrious crowd.

    Well done!

    What a player!!
I noticed him first when he was playing for Paris St. Germain and him with George Weah together were a terrific unstoppable couple!
    A Spurslegend!

An excellent addition to the Hall of Fame. A true legend of the Lane. He still hasn't been replaced which says a lot about him but it also unfortunately says just as much about our inability to sign someone to play on that side of the park for us.

I'm slightly surprised though that 'Arry hasn't brought him in to help out. I remember media reports indicating he was highly interested in being involved.

13 from 100 - so if he was here now, how many of the fickle bastards would be saying we could get better

He played when goals weren't the be all and end all of the game and i am still honoured that i was part of this generation of Yidos that got to see him wear our shirt and, as if that wasn't enough, he loves the club so very much. Yid for life

    Legend, fully deserved

We knew he would get in there eventually, congratulations David!

    Delighted for him.

But why isn't Sir Jimmy Greaves in it?
  16. alwaysaspurs
I was wondering that myself, after all he holds the goal scoring record and is a legend to all of us old enough to have seen the great man play/:grin:
  17. BringBack_leGin
Ah you know me too well

I'll also be there if I can help it

Why is Jimmy Greaves not a Sir !!!
Sounds like a great campaign to me. Britains best goals per game stiker, in Britains premier sport.
    Gordon get on with it.

My friend and I are going to get each other a ticket for Christmas (because of course we always spend that much on each other ......) but we can't miss the chance to drool over Daveed and see him get the recognition he deserves. He was a fantastically gifted player, so well suited to Spurs. I love the way he has remained totally loyal to us ever since.
