If he is doing OK in Italy, I'm pleased for him. I think it's small minded if we slag a player just because he didn't make it with us.

Therefore Bent is worth £16.5m.

I wouldnt say he is worth 16.5 in a global market, in the English market this season then maybe the top end of a resonable price, but wouldnt say he is totaly worth 16.5, it is just what we had to pay for him

well, you tell me since you know absolutely - shite

Go back to dream about 1966 again :shhh:

What a tit.

And MYO, it depends if you want to change the definition of the word 'worth' or not? If one party is willing to pay x amount for something, and the other party won't sell it for less than x, then it is worth x. That's not an opinion, that's just what the word 'worth' means....

As the adage goes, something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

i do know this, and i know we were willing to pay the 16.5million for him, so to who ever decided to get him he is worth that amout, but to me, he isnt worth anywhere near that amount, and probably to more than most clubs as well

But then if someone pays X amount for the player, the X Amount could be over the real valuation of how good he is  we paid 16.5 million for Bent, but i wouldnt say he is a 16.5 million player.
