Sam Allardyce has accused referee Jonathan Moss of "not being brave enough" to apply the laws properly as Tottenham snatched a late point at feverish White Hart Lane.

5 second half subs and 3 goals. Isn't it 30 seconds for each event? That's 4 minutes straight away.

I agree with Sam in that I think if he was brave enough to apply the proper laws then he would have sent Noble off.

No Sam the reason you only got a draw is because of your poor substitutions. West Ham were bossing midfield before you took Noble off (before he got sent off) and you replaced him with Carlton Cole, and you subsequently lost your grip on midfield allowing us back into the game. Anyway good luck job hunting in the summer.

I think he also needs to take into account the time his players spent rolling around on the floor trying to take the pace out of the game

Without a doubt, some of the most ridiculous, over the top, moronic responses to a game of football that I have heard from Sam Allardyce yesterday.

We can all understand that he would be feeling gutted to not win the game but to suggest that we got that draw through cheating or because the ref added too much time on is astonishing. I mean he actually said that the ref should have blown his whistle for full time in between Adrian saving the penalty and Kane scoring the rebound! I mean WHAT THE FUCK!?

Spot on! That's where the five minutes of injury time came from - his big strong lads disgracefully waisting time pretending to be seriously injured like Valencia, who sprinted and dribbled to the goal line immediately after receiving treatment.
As for blaming the referee in a game that saw your team
a) score a goal where your player DOES interfere with play (Rose's view and attention was blocked by Valencia), and
b) Avoid one of the most blatant second yellows I can remember, well that's just pathetic, biased and very unprofessional. That's Big Sam.

the Kane penalty was a typical injury time Anfield penalty. Soft, but brought about by a clear push in the back at a desperate time, and thus a logical decision. Poor penalty by Kane (who should not be taking the next one), and lucky, yes. But oh my, did it save the working week...

Beat me to it. And Jenkins taking a dive after soldado missed him with a (not) high boot.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that every time they made a sub the player going off just happened to be furthest away from the bench as well. Miserable fat pr*ck soon to be jobless.

We can all rip into Allardyce as much as we want, but apart from bringing on Carlton Cole as a midfielder (!?!?) he absolute dominated Poch in terms of tactics.

If we are being honest, they should have won the opening game of the season too, and at a canter.

We are so easy to manage and contain it is untrue. Any team with a slight bit of structure and tactical awareness contain us with no fuss whatsoever.

People talk about our pressing game, but beyond our two in the middle they pressed us far better all over - and more importantly - further up the pitch.

Can someone explain what the intense dislike towards Sam Allardyce is all about? I just don't get it. It's not as if he's got history with Arsenal or anything.

I like him. Seems like a proper football man and a decent enough manager, and he's kinda funny looking as well. His postmatch comments were of course fairly daft, but I can see why he's frustrated. We should never have been allowed to get back in that game. Seems fair enough to me.

Gives it Billy big bollocks when they win and is as bad a loser as Mourinho.

If the penalty was to West Ham and the ref blew for FT between the save and the rebound, there is no doubt Allardyce's head would have exploded

cheers for that. I never really saw him in Mourinhos unique category for sore losers. I shall pay more attention in the future.

TBF whose head wouldn't have exploded if that scenario with the penalty had played out? It would have been the most ridiculous thing ever.

Allardyce is the epitome of anti football.
He didn't dominate us yesterday, we were, as usual, knackered from the Mickey mouse Europa league. The sooner we're out of that shite the better.
