Zola keen on Bentley and Hutton.

Skysports.com understands West Ham are lining up a double swoop for Tottenham duo David Bentley and Alan Hutton.

Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola is keen to bolster his squad before the close of the transfer window and he is weighing up deals for the Spurs pair.

Bentley, who scored a goal in a rare appearance in Tuesday's win over Fulham, has failed to hold down a regular place in the Spurs side this season with Aaron Lennon keeping him on the sidelines.

The former Arsenal man is believed to be keen on a move away from White Hart Lane in search of regular first-team football and West Ham are ready to offer him the chance to move to Upton Park.

West Ham are also hoping to lure Bentley's team-mate Hutton to West London with Zola in the market for a new right-back.

Hutton has been linked with a switch away from North London after failing to hold down a consistent spot in Harry Redknapp's side.

The Scotland international could be tempted to move on in search of regular action as he looks to safeguard his place in the national team.

It remains to be seen if Redknapp would be willing to let the pair move on as he battles to guide Spurs to a top four finish this season.

With a budget of 8m I don't see how they can afford them.

West ham should know that bentley and London do not go together

On a seperate note I've just heard that john terry is having an affair with Wayne bridges mrs and she has just had an abortion. Wb is looking to quit international football and it's not all good in the England camp. Jt has won an injunction at court to keep it away from the press but people know anyway ! Good source

Do not get this link at all, listened to the new West Ham chairman when he took over saying its strikers we need and strikers we want? i can kinda understand Bentley out of those 2 if he played like he did at Blackburn just behind a big fella upfront much the way Dunn does that job for them now? surely after what their chairman has said and if what Lilbaz has said they they only have 8 mill to spend? they would be far more interested in signing Pav or Keano. i must admit i did like what Redknapp said about Gudjohnsen options! To me the only option if Lennon Modric Kranjcar Huddlestone Palacious & Jenas are fit & healthy is to play upfront. the only Spurs striker who has started a game out of position out on the left hand side is Keane, Hmmmm i wonder he could'nt be Keane's replacement could he?

Yes Ive heard that too......not the abortion bit tho!!

Ive got a friend that works for ITV and he told me yesterday about the injunction!

That guy is a proper pikey and a discrace. Him and his whole family. Hope he does well for England though says this fickle fan!

...hence the reason Bridge went to Citeh and didn't stay in London.

Can't quite work out how the Pikeys think 8m would get both one of them let alone both. Have a look in the Championship, at least they'll be aclimatised for next season!!
