This may be the wrong place to post this, but I thought I would wish every SC member (yes everyone - even ye naysayers) a Happy New Year.
Most articles are about who's in the team, Walker is crap, etc. - but this one is to say "I love you all" and a very Happy New Year.
May SC remain the best forum ever, and may Tottingham Hotspur win at least 10 trophies in the next 3 years.

And, oh yeah, PLEASE ALL SEND ONE FIVER TO ROB AND THE BOYS. It's not much to us, but everything to them ( who are us, by the way - anyone in a union?).

Echo those sentiments: happy new year to all of you and hope you all have a great 2013 :)

Happy new year to you too, Avon ( can I use your first name?).

Just doing this to increase the 'replies'.
Only joking - Happy New Year.

Actually I prefer Mr Spurs.... ;). I jest (or do I? Hehe). Actually now I've moved from Bristol to South Wales I need to change the username.

Hope you have a great New Years Eve followed by watching a 5-0 tonking of Reading on New Years day. (Actually I'm happy for me and, indeed, every Spurs fan to have a horrible NYE if we can have the thrashing of Reading! Sorry about that everyone ;) )

I also would suffer an abominable NYE, if even there was a 1-0 victory over reading (although 5 - 0 would be more satisfying).

By the way ..... are we the only two people at home (and not getting drunk in the pub - I thought that was for tomorrow)? There seems to be nobody here on SC.

Anyway, don't change your name. I moved from Outer Mongolia to Inner Mongolia, and didn't change my name to "illegible".

And may all your wishes come true.

I couldn't change my name even if I wanted to; I can barely work a computer enough to turn it on; it took me a few weeks to work out how to post a message on this thing.

Oh, and definitely no going out tomorrow night. Three kids under 5 have put paid to that. As has the wife (apparently, she'd want to come too!). Instead it will be a night of nervousness and anticipation for the game the following day - yep, a typical pre-game evening :)

Why? Have you rendered her unconscious?

Not yet, but still early. Apparently me going out and her looking after the kids is not on. So, I will be finding out tomorrow night if the old adage 'misery shared is misery halved' is true ;)

It's just that you said that she'd come to. Ergo, I thought that she had been, hithertofore, unconscious.

By the way, I raised 3 kids years ago - but that was in the days when you could clip them around the ear. I pity you modern day parents.

Oh believe me, I'd give up clipping round the ears for modern technology. Don't think I could cope without a washing machine, TV, computer. Now all I have to do is get my kids into Spurs - so far my 5 and 3 yr old has no interest whilst my 1yr old wears the kit but it could be anything to him. Wonder if Social Services would class making my kids support Spurs as child cruelty?! :)

always eating, eat myself if I could but I wouldn't get the right combo of herbs and spices before I put myself in the oven.

My son is now 25. I never once asked him to support Spurs (he he) - still, somehow he does. Keep the faith.
