When Dele Alli arrived at St. George’s Park earlier this week for his first England senior team meeting, it was hardly new surroundings for the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder.

If this kid can reach his full potential at Spurs, he can take us forward massively.

Our bean counter must be wetting his pants as Dele's value skyrockets

He has the potential to be as influential in this team as Hoddle was back in his day.

Reminds me a bit of Stevie G. Call me a optimist, but his made watching Spurs a joy again. Fantastic talent.

I did say at the start of the season he may have a chance of getting into the England squad for the Euros.

He comes across as an intelligent lad, who wants to get to the top as quick as possible. Nice to have a player with that kind of ambition.

I hope he show's us loyalty if we fulfill his targets.

With Dier holding, it does give the second CM much more freedom and his responsibility in the attacking third will increase.

Once he's settled, I expect him to score between 5-7 goals from that position this season, which for a 19 year old in this 1st season would be an excellent total.

No doubt one of, if not, the "find" of the season in the EPL. He looks level headed and I like that way he, and others, keep talking about how "hard work" go him where he is now. And in this case it looks if he, Alli, really mean it - in practice, not just by words.
And it must have an good effect on other highly talented players out there taking notice of how well Spurs have developed youngest since Poch arrived.
However, he is still a human being - a young one - who will have his lapses in form sooner or later...and I won't be surprised to see Spurs fans - in true football fans "fashion" - venting their frustrations and anger at Alli  Only to be proven wrong by the same Alli :D

I'd rather he hadn't been picked for England. Would have preferred him to have spent this time at Spurs - can't see any benefit from him being around lesser players instead of training with us ;)

Would be nice, but suspect he will be with us for ~3 seasons before signing for one of the 'big' teams for £50m+. Bottom line is that the way to win silverware is to pay top wages. He will expct a big wage before too long.

Still, in the mean time, hopefully he will be part of a team that gets into the CL again. That alone would be enough to give us a platform for the future, regardless of where he eventually ends up.

Enjoy it while it lasts I guess!
