He's been playing as a attacking midfielder for Millwall where I think he'll end up playing as he gets older.

Also think it'll be another year or two before he gets a sniff of a PL loan.

Well, he's still a pup and he's earning regular starts, and importantly for an attacking player, playing well and scoring goals. It's a good start. Better this than endless reserve games.

Good to see him doing well at this level. He is younger than people think, would love him as a 4th striker next season. Strikers are a bit different I think whereas benching them doesn't destroy them as they are still likely to play a big part throughout the season. Its likely we are going to be 2 or 3 strikers short in he summer so would have us a bit of money!

Not the required standard mebbe. No doubt those at the club understand why he's not playing. It's good to know who to persevere with and who to cut loose.

Disagree he plays a position which is not used much in the championship and he is small which also plays against him, it is also worth noting he is regarded as our most talented prospect

Well, a season of playing fuck all football can't help. If the club value him that highly, I expect him to stay here next season and start in the ealy rounds of both cups. Otherwise, would a newly promoted side go for him? Doubt it. Betwixt and between for the lad right now. Can't get games at championship level and unlikely to be taken on by a prem side struggling for survival.

Well livermore was shockingly bad at championship level and couldn't get a game either but he has done well for us this season so who knows

Do we know if he is even fit? He usually isn't...

Indeed a major issue is his injury record if not he would be in the premier league this season

Livermore played almost 50 games in the previous 3 seasons on loan, about the same number of games Mason has played in the same time on loan, but I take your point and it was Livermore who I was thinking of when suggesting it might be more beneficial to keep him around the Spurs squad and give him a few games in the cups next season.

Better that than wasting time not playing or not training with our squad of players instead of, with all due respect, Millwall's

BBC :
James Henry's corner was bravely headed in by the impressive Kane, who looks set to return to White Hart Lane next season, to open the scoring.

Harry Kane scores from 20 yards, Ryan Mason on the bench

That makes it 5 goals in the last 10 Championship games

Positive quotes about Kane from the Millwall Assistant Manager Joe Gallen after his performance last night

I don't want to talk him up too much because he's decent," he said.

"He's a very good finisher, very good all-round game and we're thankful to Tottenham for letting us have him.

"I think he's going to score lots of goals in his future. He loves football, he loves training - he gets annoyed when we pull him away from finishing training because we're worried he's going to get a thigh strain.

"He's got the lot. We've got to try and make sure we get some points and then we can concentrate on next season. It would be great if we could (sign him permanently)."

We won't let him go there permanently.

Next season I expect he will go to another Championship club but one which is higher up the table, if they can still offer him regular football.

I disagree he should go to a prem team or be our 3rd/4th choice striker 5 goals in 10 games shows he can play at this level for a shit team
