Following preliminary assessments, we can confirm that Harry Kane has damaged ligaments in his left ankle,

He is expected to return to training in early March.

Unless Levy has the means to buy a forward or two, Poch might have to rethink his decision not to use Vincent Janssen and N'Koudou, if only until Harry, Moura and Son are back.

Higuain and Zlatan on loan ;-)

Just pay then big wages for 6 months, let them get us a cup and Top 4, then back to Plan A (signing no-one!?!) in the Summer

Or just throw money at whatever forward we were looking to sign in the summer, now.

With son away the obvious choice is llorente- I for one would like to see him given a run.

Hopefully if we play to his strengths and with a run of 4-5 games we will see him recreate his Swansea form for us

ITK has said we're willing to go all in on De Jong.

Not sure if we'd ever go big on a second striker. Wonder if Poch would play two mega strikers.

Foolish, now proven, to only have Harry. Drop off to Llorente far to big

Tough time ahead. Hard to see us maintaining points and cup wins in his absence, concurrent with Son's. But chance for everyone else to step up and all that...

Usually he comes back early because he likes to play himself fit.
He'll be strapped up and static, but he will put away the penalties.

Lamela could play a false 9 along with Lucas or Dele until Son returns. Otherwise we still have Llorente.

I Just think that Llorente deserves a run. A good striker who scores for us. Sure we will have to modify our approach to a certain extent. But you cant play like the old Barcelona when you dont have Messi Xavi and Iniesta

He’s been effective the last few times he’s come on and thought he added a lot against Utd esp bringing others into play but he’s not good enough as a Kane replacement.

We must get somebody in as we have cup semi and both CL ties to think about

Agreed - not as good as Kane, but this guy is a proven international & premier league goal scorer. He can hold the ball up, has decent movement and can finish. Surely he can carry the forward line for a month. And forgive me for a perceived lack of ambition but in my view we should ditch the League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League. Put all our money in finishing top 4. There is no way we can compromise on that.

The problem you have is that once the 11-12 games that Kane are over, then that player drops back to the bench in favour of the no.1, which is a big deterrent for any top class player. We need to either look at finding a wide-forward, like Son, who can swap between the central & wide roles, meaning the likes of Malcom, or we look at a low cost option like Giuseppe Rossi, who is on a free & only 31yrs-old.

Its a left-field option, but with no fee & a short term deal he could do a job until the end of the season. Rossi, when fit, is a solid player & a good finisher.

Its tough to ask one of the younger lads to do it, therefore, I can imagine the ideal scenario would be to get a wide-forward, however, I have the feeling that Levy will look at the lowest cost option.

Let's face it, we're buggered. Won't be winning the Rumbalows Milk Cup, getting past Dortmund and now potentially in a bun fight with the sickeningly overrated Man U, a team to we inexplicably lost to the other day. No stadium this season, Wembley all the way, losing Poch, Toby and The Great Dane in summer. Hiring Eddie 'the Eagle' Howe, playing Europa ties in our new home, taking another two seasons to start punching above our weight by which time Poch would have won everything including the Johnson Paint Trophy with Real Madrid. Am I right or am I right? Ahh well. COYS xx
