Harry Kane has joined promotion hopefuls Leicester City on loan until the end of the season and has signed a new contract until 2017.
The England Under-19 forward, Millwall's Young Player of the Year last season during a loan spell at the New Den, spent the first half of this campaign on loan with Norwich City.

Good side, doing well with a good manager. Hopefully he'll be successful there.

Good work by the club there as he wasn't getting much game time at Norwich (I know he was injured for a bit) and hopefully will get a decent amount of games at a club like Leicester, although I presume he will be behind Nugent and Wood. Should still get more time than at us or Norwich

Hopefully also means they are confident about Defoes return

It's a shame he couldn't get more premier league experience.

So hopefully he makes it there and Leicester goes up to the premier League. Then we could maybe extend his loan. Good move!

Kane starts with Wood who is a very good young striker, who I am surprised that West Brom let go tbh

He's the New Zealander that's been scoring for fun isn't he?

Unfair challenge on Harry Kane by Neal Eardley results in a Penalty.

    48:19 Penalty
Penalty taken by Chris Wood and missed.

Kane seems to have a knack of winning penalties for his team...

and importantly as well, he started and played 83 mins. With luck it means he should get a few starts and goals, which wilol be good experience.

Looked impressive in the highlights vs Blackpool, and after his loan spell at Millwall, I think we can say he is at the very least an accomplished championship player.

Looks bigger, stronger, quicker, less boy more man.

To take the club as whole, its very exciting to see Caulker playing regularly, Carroll and Livermore getting game time (livermore has 100 career appearances now), Townsend is establishing himself in the Premiership, and Kane is coming along nicely.

Kane 8 - Really like him, quick, not scared to shoot and good in the air

Nice to read that. Maybe he has got stronger, and yard quicker.

Lots of positive comments from Leicester fans - none negative. A selection from another Leicester board :

Kane a very good addition IMHO. He and Woody looked like a good partnership.

Kane fits right in and should complement Nugent and Wood well enough.

Kane holds the ball up well

Kane is a very useful player to have, and could of even scored another.

Wood and Kane put themselves about. Similar players who best attribute is probably their football brain.

Kane looks a useful addition up front, decent header for the goal and general hold up play was bright along with Wood.

Given that he's just joined Leicester so is still fitting into the team, he's off to a good start on his loan.

Missed a sitter apparently. Shame. 0-0 with about 10 minutes left of their game.
