Last week Rob said levy would have allowed him to leave the last time they were interested. So I'm not that quick to dismiss him leaving.

BUT

That was then, not now. Man Utd might want him but so would every club in world football.

Unless United bid is 400m & pays off the entire new stadium loan , Levy isn't going to the negotiation table.

I suspect the true part of that story is when asked if he wanted Ronaldo, Mourinho said I'd rather have Harry Kane.

Don't know about that, but I'm quite sure he is now part of the foundations of what we are building. Move him on and the whole lot could come apart, starting with the manager.

Without knowing the source of that, I am.

Rob is hardly going to post a bombshell like that without being pretty damn sure it was correct.

Anyway I don't think levy would sell him now, it's a different time. Plus, I don't think a club would pay what we'd demand. It would probably be at least double the last world record figure. He's indispensable to us and probably in the top 5 strikers in world football. Due to his love of Spurs we get that extra couple of percent out of him that we couldn't one of the other 4 strikers. For that, he's priceless in my mind.

Mourinho obviously wants the best striker in the world, every manager does.

What he wants and what he gets are two different things though

If we sold Kane and that led to us losing Poch and other pillars of our squad I'd honestly think I would just give up on football :/

Cannot see any scenario that would see Kane leaving before having a season at new stadium. If we fail to kick on from there then it becomes a possibility.

:banghead: M'Bappe fee being banded around is supposedly circa £100million.

Harry Kane prem proven has come up with the goods for a few seasons now. £100 million might get you a boot lace.

Oh...and Maureen. How's about actually coaching instead of playing...I want that one.

£100 Million lol.:finger::finger::finger::finger::facepalm:

Oh yeah, I can definitely see Harry leaving Poch to go play for Mourinho...

He is worth more to us than the fee. £100 million might not even get you Mbbappe and Kane is better than him, then you take into account the vast TV deal meaning we don't need the cash, That Kane is English and home grown and loved by the fans, Prem proven, a 5 year contract etc.

The value for us to replace him as a striker and improve in other areas as well to make up would be closer to £200-300 million, even United won't do that.
