Got to give Trix credit for being bang on and what I think has happened is that, that is old news in terms of United bidding for maguire and it getting rejected that is just now reaching the media. I think that this then ties in with Hercules comments regarding Levy and poker as they are now going to go for Alder and do business with us on Martial.

I could even stretch it to say that nobody else has come in for De Ligt so we're going to do the business there also but I think that the first paragraph is plausible.

It was actually me who said it was one big poker game. Said it in the Martial thread on Tuesday

Given their centre back options after Maguire are Jonny Evans, Dragovic and Wes fucking Morgan AND they've already recieved a shit ton of money from the Mahrez sale I don't think they should be biting United's hand off as some are suggesting

They won't get another chance of flogging Maguire for 65 million.

He’s young. The market is insane and likely not getting any better plus in a years time he’ll still be in the England set up.

I think they’re better off having him - as someone else said it’s not like they need the money following the Mahrez sale. Put ourselves in their shoes. You’d much rather have the players rather than selling and then doing a hope and pray with less sure purchases.
