Reminded me of the boxing lesson that Barrera handed to Hamed for his first defeat. Ricky couldnt get close enough to land the body shots he needed to slow Mayweather down, it only took him a short while to figure Ricky out and in the end Ricky's aggression cost him. Mayweather just had to wait for the right opportunity and clocked him with one of the sweetest left hooks I've seen in ages.

The lads on HBO reckoned it was one of the best performances they'd seen from Floyd so fair play to Ricky for bringing that out of him. He'll be back.

I cannot believe the judges had it at 89-81 at the knockdown? It was a hell of a lot closer than that.

I was disappointed with the crowd for booing & hissing the US anthem at the start, very disrespectful after the way the US embraced the UK fans.

Mayweather was quality! His strategy was perfect. Both fighters showed great spirit. Great fight.

DIsgraceful booing of the star spangled banner had me pulling for Floyd the whole way.
It does embarrass me the way our(England) fans always boo other teams national anthems. Its arrogant and totally disrespectful as you have pointed out.

I was shocked they done that actually, I thought boxing fans had a little more respect, I expect if from our football fans

Personally I think the booing was more for an anti Bush agenda but there is a time and a place and that wasn't it.

Disgraceful scenes and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I wasn't surprised. As soon as i saw that some of the band members were wearing "The Sun" t-shirts, i knew there was trouble ahead.
