Like with Soldado, I really want to see Janssen succeed at Spurs and silence some of the doubts that are starting to be heard. Difference is, Janssen appears to have more to his game than Soldado did and at such a young age will only improve.

I'm convinced he'll be a star for us.

Physically much better suited to the league than Soldado. Offers something Kane doesn't with his strength and links very well with the other players. Given the time he will definitely score goals for us.

He seemed a lot quicker than he has for us; were the opposition defenders slower than PL, or is he literally getting up to speed now? I just hope for his sake that he starts in the next game. If Son gets the nod ahead of him and VJ starts thinking he's only 3rd choice striker, it could really hit his confidence hard.

Struggled against koscielny and Varane today but didn't have too much quality and support backing him up. Tried his best.
